Worship at Sashabaw Presbyterian Church
The heart of our Church family is the worship of Almighty God. Worship is our response to what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. Each week we gather to pause, take a breath, give thanks, listen to God's Word, and be renewed by the Spirit for daily living.
Most weeks our worshiop takes place in our sanctuary, but at times you’ll also find us under the trees in our beautiful woods or gathered around a cozy bonfire when the weather permits. Wherever we meet, we come together with reverence and joy, knowing that God meets us there.
Our Rhythm
In today’s busy and stressful world, it can be hard to pause and open ourselves to the Creator. That’s why our worship begins with a deep breath and prayer, grounding us in God’s presence. From there, our rhythm moves between what is creative, experiential, and traditional—drawing from the richness of Presbyterian liturgy while also making space for new expressions of faith.
Each service proclaims the gospel, lifts up prayers, and invites the community into thanksgiving and adoration. We weave in a variety of music styles—from traditional hymns to gospel and contemporary pieces—not as performance, but as another way of opening our hearts to God. Together, these elements create a worship experience that is spacious, rooted, and renewing.
Wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome to breathe, pray, and worship with us.
