What we do,Sashabaw presbyterian church is nestled in the meadow next to the Sashabaw Elementary School and in front of the Sashabaw Middle School. We are a community of diverse and inclusive people who gather in worship, hospitality and spiritual growth in the name of Jesus Christ. Together we seek to recognize and acknowledge the presence of God in our lives and in the world while responding to the love of God by equipping ourselves to share that love with others. We seek to do this through a rhythm of worship, hospitality, spiritual growth and sabbath rest.

WorshipWorship is the heart of Sashabaw Presbyterian Church and the wellspring from which all other ministries are nourished. In worship we encounter God through scripture, music, prayer, thanksgiving and in our everyday lives.

Hygge HospitialityHygge (hoo gah) is the Danish word which most simply is translated as well being. As we seek to be a community bringing the hope and healing of Jesus Christ we practice this art of Hygge Hospitality which is about being comfortable, cozy, sharing and a welcoming way of being together. As you walk through the door we invite you to leave ego and agitation behind and enter a place of peace and curl up into the care of calm and where cups of coffee, cocoa and tea abound.
SabbathWe observe Sabbath. In Sabbath rest we breathe, exhaling the busyness of our lives that keep us from seeing the grace and mercy and beauty God has given to us. Thorugh this gift from God we are refreshed and renewed for our everyday lives.
ServiceWe restore hope when we practice Service by giving of ourselves to help another. Scripture tells us “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others” (I Peter:4:10)
Spiritual GrowthWe grow through study with Bibles open on our laps in a circle, sitting in a living room pondering questions of faith, participating in Sunday study groups, or during times of personal devotional reading. These are habits of the heart that inspire and equip us to live as disciples of Christ, as we grow in faith.
