Advent
Each service in Advent holds its own beauty and meaning as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. In 2025, our journey begins and unfolds in these special ways:
- Sunday, November 30 at 11:00 am – The First Sunday of Advent We begin the season at the Lord’s Table, sharing in Communion as we await the Savior’s birth.
- Sunday, December 7 at 11:00 am– The Second Sunday of Advent We honor the spirit of St. Nicholas and bring the manger into the church, marking the nearness of the Holy Child.
- Saturday, December 13 at 7:00 PM – The Third Week of Advent A special Advent Garden service of light and meditation invites us into quiet reflection. (This service is not available on zoom. There will be no service on Sunday, December 14 as we keep Sabbath rest.)
- Sunday, December 21 at 11:00 am – The Fourth Sunday of Advent We remember St. Lucia, carrying candles into the sanctuary as we welcome the coming Christ Child, the Light of the World.

Candles, Carols and Communion
Together we will hear the timeless story of Christ’s birth, lift our voices in cherished Christmas carols, and share in the Lord’s Supper. As the light of many candles fills the sanctuary, we remember that the Child born in Bethlehem is the true Light of the World. This service is a time of joy, wonder, and welcome for all ages.
